Determination of Capital Investment. DEO accepts as capital investment so-called “hard” costs (such as construction and renovations of buildings, and acquisition of equipment) and “soft” costs (such as eligible capitalized labor, architectural and engineering services, and document printing and mailing costs). Eligible capital investment expenditures are those that are ordered/invoiced and paid for on or after the Effective Date and before the Capital Investment Date. - End of Exhibit A (SCOPE OF WORK) - Exhibit B AUDIT REQUIREMENTS The administration of resources awarded by DEO to the recipient (herein otherwise referred to as “Grantee”) may be subject to audits and/or monitoring by DEO as described in this Exhibit B.
