Common use of DIR Administrative Fee Clause in Contracts

DIR Administrative Fee. a) The Vendor shall pay an administrative fee to DIR to defray the DIR costs of negotiating, executing, and administering the Contract. The maximum administrative fee is set by the Texas Legislature in the biennial General Appropriations Act. DIR will review Vendor monthly sales reports, close the sales period, and notify the Vendor of the administrative fee no later than the fourteenth (14th) day of the second month following the date of the reported sale. Vendor shall pay the administrative fee by the twenty-fifth (25th) calendar day of the second month following the date of the reported sale. For example, Vendor reports January sales by February 15th; DIR closes January sales and notifies Vendor of administrative fee by March 14th; Vendor submits administrative fee for January sales by March 25th. b) DIR may change the amount of the administrative fee upon thirty (30) calendar days c) Vendor shall reference the DIR Contract number, reporting period, and administrative fee amount on any remittance instruments.
