Disconnection/Early Termination Fee Sample Clauses

Disconnection/Early Termination Fee. If you contracted to ‘no minimum term contract’ or a ‘month to month’ Service, you will not pay a disconnection fee. When you agree to a 24 month minimum term contract for a DSL service we may provide you with certain benefits that include, but are not limited to a waiving of the standard setup fee and/or Hardware at no cost or at a subsidised price. If you agree to a 24-month minimum term contract for a DSL Service and you cancel your Service before the expiration of the 24-month term, the maximum early termination fee payable is $360. This charge is pro-rated to the period you were connected to the service. For example: • if you agree to a minimum 24-month term and cancel the service in the first month, you will be liable for the maximum early termination fee of $360. • if you agree to a minimum 24-month term and cancel the service in the 12th month of the 24 month term, you will be liable for a pro rated early termination fee of $195 • if you agree to a minimum 24-month term and cancel the service in the 18th month of the 24 month term, you will be liable for a pro rated early termination fee of $105. You must provide us with 30 days notice to disconnect your Service.
