Common use of Discretion of Responding Member’s Authorized Official Clause in Contracts

Discretion of Responding Member’s Authorized Official. Each Member recognizes and agrees that execution of this Agreement does not create any duty to respond to a request for assistance. When a Member receives a request for assistance, the Authorized Official shall have absolute discretion as to the ability of that Member to respond to a request for assistance.
