Request for Assistance. Whenever, in the opinion of a Requesting Official of a Party, there is a need for Public Works Assistance from another Party, such Requesting Official may, at his or her discretion, call upon the Sending Official of any other Party to furnish Public Works Assistance.
Request for Assistance. In the event of a situation where assistance is required and before anything else, the BENEFICIARY must contact the COMPANY by calling the tool free 01 800 number and/or collect calling providing the following information:
1. Location, if available a telephone number where the COMPANY may call back and additional information the COMPANY Contact Center representative may request.
2. Name, Certificate Number and Term.
3. Detailed description of the situation and type of assistance needed.
4. Abstain from making any arrangements and/or expenses without consulting with the COMPANY.
Request for Assistance. The request for assistance will:
A. Be made only with a Declaration of a state of Local Civil Emergency or Declaration of Disaster by a Requesting Party pursuant to Section 418.108, Texas Government Code or after a proclamation of a State of Emergency under Section 433.001, Texas Government Code,
B. Be made only without a Declaration of a state of Local Civil Emergency or Declaration of Disaster if the Requesting Party expects to use the resource(s) for less than one Operational Period or if the declaration of emergency is expected to be issued during the first Operational Period.
C. Be made by the highest ranking authority of Requesting Party available at the time of need,
D. Be made to the highest ranking authority of the Responding Party available at the time of need, and
E. Specify to the greatest extent possible the nature of the problem requiring assistance and the resources requested.
Request for Assistance. A written request must be made to the district commander with Civil Works responsi- bility for the affected area. Upon re- ceipt of a written request, the appro- priate State and Federal agencies will be notified, and coordination will con- tinue as appropriate throughout the as- sistance. Request for Assistance. All participants have the right to utilize the services of lay or professional consultants.
Request for Assistance. In the event of an Emergency, a Member’s Authorized Official may request mutual aid and assistance from Members (“Request for Assistance”). Requests for Assistance may be made orally or in writing, provided that when a Request for Assistance is made orally, the Requesting Member shall, as soon as practicable, identify and transmit in writing the personnel, equipment and supplies requested. Requesting Members shall direct Requests for Assistance to Authorized Officials. The Statewide Committee shall provide specific protocols for Requests for Assistance as part of the procedures created pursuant to Article IV of this Agreement.
Request for Assistance. After a Member receives a request for assistance, the Authorized Official evaluates whether resources are available to respond to the request for assistance. Following the evaluation, the Authorized Representative shall inform, as soon as possible, the Requesting Member whether it has the resources to respond. If the Member is willing and able to provide assistance, the Member shall inform the Requesting Member about the type of available resources and the approximate arrival time of such assistance.
Request for Assistance. In case of an Assistance Event and prior to taking personal action where reasonable, the Insured or his/her representative shall call IPA's alarm center in Hong Kong at the cost of the Company, whose contact number is listed below: and should state: • His/her name, the number of his/her policy and his/her I.D. card or passport number and, • The name of the place and the telephone number where IPA can reach the Insured or his/her representative and, • A brief description of the accident and the nature of assistance required.
Request for Assistance. A meeting will be scheduled with appropriate individuals as described below (phone or videoconference in most cases). The Statement of Issue for Escalation will be sent in advance to the participants.
Request for Assistance. All participants have the right to utilize the services of professional consultants in the deliberations. Each side must be given at least twenty-one (21) days notice of this assistance in writing.
