Discussion Stage. Within ten (10) calendar days of the occurrence of the grievance, the employee shall attempt to resolve the dispute with his immediate Supervisor who is outside the bargaining unit.

Discussion Stage. Within fifteen (15) working days after the cause of the grievance occurs or at such time that the employee first makes it known that she is aware, the grievor shall attempt to resolve the dispute with her immediate supervisor.

If the complaint is not satisfactorily resolved in writing within three (3) working days after the employee has contacted their immediate supervisor outside the bargaining unit, the complaint may then be taken up as a grievance in the following manner: Step 1 The employee concerned shall submit a grievance (which may be submitted by the Union representative) in writing to the Executive Director within seven (7) days of the time the employee received the response at the discussion stage. The employee may be accompanied by their Union representative when taking the matter up with the Executive Director. The Executive Director shall deliver their decision in writing to the employee concerned within three (3) days after the date on which they received the employee’s written grievance as hereinbefore provided and a copy of the written reply of the Executive Director shall be mailed to the Union office on the same day.
Discussion Stage. Employees having complaints shall discuss the matter with their Project Manager and may request the presence of the shop xxxxxxx, in an attempt to resolve the matter. Where a matter is so presented, the supervisor shall respond to the employee, in writing, within two (2) days of said discussion takes place. Any resolution found at this stage of the grievance procedure shall be on a without prejudice basis and shall not contravene the terms of this Agreement or any applicable legislation.
