Dismissal/Suspension Procedure. (a) An employee may be dismissed or suspended for just cause. Notice of dismissal or suspension setting forth the reasons for such action shall be given in writing to such employee and a copy of the notice shall be forwarded coincidentally to the President of the Union, or designate. (b) An employee considered by the Union to be wrongfully or unjustly dismissed or suspended shall be entitled to file a grievance under Article 53.

(b2) In the case of suspension of an employee, the Union and the employee shall be advised promptly in writing by OUC stating the reasons for such suspension. (3) An employee considered by the Union to be wrongfully or unjustly dismissed discharged or suspended shall be entitled to file a grievance hearing under Article 5352.
