Common use of District Sponsored In-Service Training Clause in Contracts

District Sponsored In-Service Training. One (1) or two (2) in-service instructors who plan and instruct a District staff development class outside of contractual workday/responsibilities, will each be paid at the rate of seventy-five ($75.00) per hour based on teaching/facilitating time. Teams of more than two (2) must be pre- approved by the Teaching and Learning Department and will be compensated at the rate of 2 ½ times the hourly training rate ($188 hourly to be divided among the group of instructors).
