Common use of Domestic Clause in Contracts

Domestic. Partners Except as otherwise prohibited by state or federal law, an employee’s domestic partner will be treated the same as a spouse for purposes of any benefits described in this Article 3. A domestic partner is an individual who is the same sex as the employee for whom the employee has submitted proof of domestic partnership in accordance with the rules and procedures as may be established by the Company from time to time, and provided the domestic partnership has not been terminated. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ will be imputed to the employee for any domestic partner benefits elected by the employee as required by state or federal law.
