Drawings and Compliance with the Law. Contract Drawings and Specifications are intended to comply with all laws, ordinances, rules and regulations of constituted authorities having jurisdiction, and where referred to in the Contract Documents, said laws, ordinances, rules and regulations shall be considered as a part of this Facilities Lease within the limits specified. Contractor shall bear all expenses of correcting work done contrary to said laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.

If Architect's plans and specifications require Work to be done contrary to law, Contractor shall not be liable if it complies with said plans and specifications. If the plans and specifications do not clearly require Contractor to perform work contrary to applicable laws, but Contractor performs its Work contrary to law, Contractor shall bear all expenses of correcting such work. However, if Contractor suspects the plans and specifications are contrary to law, Contractor shall immediately notify the District Representative.
