Driving Time. The employee shall have the right to refuse to drive after a combination of working and driving more than 13 hours in a day. Due to fatigue related accidents, if accommodations have been provided for the employee or the employee is on LOA, the employee requires the approval of the employer prior to traveling a combination of working and driving more than 13 hours as described above. Employees who travel without the approval shall not receive payment for travel time.
Driving Time a. The Transportation Director may require a member(s) of this unit to drive a school bus; compliance is mandatory. b. The mechanic or mechanic’s helper, when required to drive shall be paid at his/her regular hourly rate of pay or at the current hourly rate of pay being paid to bus drivers, whichever is higher. c. Whenever a mechanic is delegated to drive a school bus on a designated bus run the following provisions shall apply: 1. $1.00 per each a.m. and each p.m. run not to exceed $200.00 per school year. 2. A “run” shall be understood to mean any time students are transported from one location to another location. 3. The amount earned under this clause shall be subject to a deduction, not to exceed the maximum, for each “chargeable” accident incurred by a mechanic while operating a school vehicle. The deduction shall constitute the cost of repairs to the school district. A “chargeable” accident shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Transportation Director.
Driving Time. Driving time over 10 km shall pay DKK 0.85 per km back and forth. Driving time shall be calculated as the shortest distance between the employee's residence or the enterprise's workshop and the worksite but with a 10 km reduction of the distance.

Driving Time. A. Driving time for field trips shall begin when the bus is moved from its authorized storage area. Employees are requested, when practical, to be at the departure point fifteen (15) minutes prior to the scheduled time of departure. Driving time ends when the bus is parked at its authorized storage area. Drivers shall be paid for sweeping, fueling, putting up bus windows, emptying trash and securing the bus. B. It is understood that drivers will be available to supervise materials, equipment, or students upon request during the time of the trip. Under no circumstances will employees be expected to supervise students during sleeping time on overnight trips. C. A record of driving time for each assignment shall be reported by the employee to the Transportation Department at the earliest possible time, but not later than the first day of the pay period following the pay period in which it was worked. D. Specific directions from the assigned school to the assigned field trip destination will be provided to the driver upon request.
