Common use of Dues and Fee Deductions Clause in Contracts

Dues and Fee Deductions. The District shall deduct from the salary of each employee who submits written authorization either the dues required for union membership or a representation fee if the employee chooses to support the Association’s activities without membership. Such dues shall be transmitted to the Association monthly. The Association shall hold the District harmless from any liability caused by the administration of this section, including the cost of defense for any claims related to the same.
