Common use of Dues/Service Fees Deduction Authorizations Clause in Contracts

Dues/Service Fees Deduction Authorizations. For the duration of this Agreement, the Company shall deduct from each week’s pay Union dues, or equivalent service fee, and promptly remit same to the Local for those employees in the bargaining unit whose written and signed authorizations are received by the Company. Such authorizations shall be valid only if submitted on one of the forms set forth in paragraph B. of this Section, or on one of the forms in use in the bargaining unit prior to March 1, 1996.
