JOINT APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE There is hereby established a Joint Apprenticeship Committee as defined in paragraph (c) hereof. This Committee shall be composed of four (4) members, two (2) representing the Company and two (2) Journeymen/women employees representing the Union. The Chairperson shall be the Supervisor of Apprentices. The Committee shall meet once a month unless otherwise agreed. It shall be the duty of the Committee:
APPRENTICES 6.36.1 The Contractor acknowledges and agrees that, if this Contract involves a dollar amount greater than or a number of working days greater than that specified in Labor Code Section 1777.5, this Contract is governed by the provisions of Labor Code Section 1777.5. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure compliance with this Article and with Labor Code Section 1777.5 for all apprenticeable occupations.
Employment of Apprentices 1. Where either the prime AGREEMENT or the subagreement exceeds thirty thousand dollars ($30,000), the CONSULTANT and any subconsultants under him or her shall comply with all applicable requirements of Labor Code §§ 1777.5, 1777.6 and 1777.7 in the employment of apprentices.
Duties of Contractor The Contractor shall provide the following services relative to this Contract:
DUTIES OF THE CONTRACTOR shall be to provide services in accordance with Exhibit A, Statement of Work, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. The performance of these duties shall be at times and places within the limits of District policy at the discretion of the Contractor.
APPRENTICESHIP COMMITTEE The central parties agree that within sixty (60) days of the commencement of this agreement, a joint local committee consisting of up to three representatives each will be formed to discuss the feasibility of establishing an apprenticeship program(s). If such a program is deemed feasible, the local parties will determine the terms and conditions of such program(s). The joint local committee will seek the availability of any federal or provincial funds to cover the costs of such programs.
Apprentice An apprentice is an em ployee who is in training to become a Jour xxxxxx Meat Cutter. Apprentices must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Apprentices may be employed at a ratio of not exceeding three (3) for each seven (7) Journeymen employed by the Employer within the jurisdiction of the Local. A quar terly report covering the number of Appren tices employed in relationship to the number of Journeymen shall be furnished the Union. The Employer agrees to rotate all Appren tices in his markets so as to give them suffi cient, well-rounded experience to qualify them as Journeymen at the end of the three
Duties of the Committee The Committee will be responsible for developing recommendations based on consensus (agreement and/or abstinence constitutes consensus) for the CAAT retirees' group insurance plans. The duties of the Committee are to:
