NON-TEACHING DUTIES. The Board and the Association acknowledge that a teacher’s primary responsibility is to provide learning experiences and that his energies should be channeled into this responsibility to the fullest extent. Therefore, they agree:
NON-TEACHING DUTIES. The Committee and the Association acknowledge that a teacher’s primary responsibility is to teach and that her/his energies should, to the extent possible, be utilized to this end. Therefore, they agree as follows:
NON-TEACHING DUTIES. 14.1 The Board and the Association recognize that a teacher’s primary responsibility is to teach and that the teachers’ energies should be utilized to that end. Within budgetary limitations, efforts should be made to reduce the non-student contact duties through the use of paraeducators and part-time clerical assistants so that the teacher will have more time to devote to teaching activities.
NON-TEACHING DUTIES. A. The Board and Association recognize that a teacher’s primary responsibility is to the students and the instructional program. Therefore, teachers will not be required to perform the following non-teaching duties:

NON-TEACHING DUTIES. 27.1.0. No Occasional Teacher shall be required to perform as part of that Occasional Teacher’s regular duties any duties normally and regularly performed by members of the secretarial or custodial staff. This shall not preclude the participation of an Occasional Teacher in incidental duties associated with the instructional program or in those duties as prescribed in the Education Act, as amended from time to time, and Regulations thereunder.
NON-TEACHING DUTIES. The District agrees to make every effort to reduce non•teaching duties that do not best use a teacher’s presence and skills, through the use of teacher aides.
NON-TEACHING DUTIES. A teacher will not be required to drive pupils to school connected activities which take place away from the school building. A teacher may do so voluntarily, however, with the advance approval of his/her principal or immediate supervisor.

To eliminate problems within the school related to safety and/or discipline, the teachers and the principals will meet to develop a plan.
