Common use of Duty Call Clause in Contracts

Duty Call. If a regular employee is “called in” to fill a position not regularly filled by the employee, the employee shall receive pay for at least two (2) hours. The “call in” period may be combined with a regular shift for time calculation purposes if one-half (1/2) hour or less separates the regular shift from the call in.
