Common use of EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE Clause in Contracts

EDITORIAL INDEPENDENCE. All parties acknowledge that while the Institution has financial obligations toward the Publisher, that the Institution is in no way involved with the editorial process. Nothing herein contained shall oblige the Publisher to publish any article submitted to the Publisher by a Corresponding Author. The Institution acknowledges that the selection of material to be published on the Publisher Platform is entirely at the discretion of the Publisher. The Institution waives any claim it may have against the Publisher in the event that the Publisher refuses or declines to publish any material (or part thereof) submitted by a Corresponding Author.
