Common use of Education Credit (Principals/Assistant Principals) Clause in Contracts

Education Credit (Principals/Assistant Principals). Principals/assistant principals who have accumulated education credit shall be paid according to the following schedule. Education credit earned after January 1, 2004, cannot be more than five (5) years old. Education credit must be graduate credit, appropriate to administration, and pre-approved, in writing, by the Superintendent/designee. Education Credit Additional Compensation MA+60/Specialist/Supt. Certification $1,000, and Ph.D. or Ed.D. $2,000
