Educational Program. A. DSST PUBLIC SCHOOLS shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at DSST XXXX MIDDLE SCHOOL (“the School” within Exhibit A-3). These characteristics are subject to modification with the District’s written approval:

Educational Program. The University shall maintain a tuition waiver program. For the purpose of this article, the term “dependent” shall mean the spouse, domestic partner and /or dependent child. For required concurrent enrollment in a laboratory course, in connection with another separate course, which is covered by a tuition waiver; the tuition waiver shall be applicable to the laboratory course. The laboratory course shall not be counted as part of the 8 hours of total waiver and shall not constitute an additional course. Modular courses which may be construed to be a single course and are offered sequentially over a single semester will count as a single course not to exceed four (4) credit hours. The program will be based on space availability for unit members. When space is available, unit members may enroll in a course(s) on a tuition waiver basis. The Program is subject to the following requirements: 1. The campus shall determine when space is available, recognizing that such determination should be made, whenever possible, in sufficient time to permit timely enrollment by participating unit members. 2. Unit members and dependents must meet any course prerequisites. 3. All fees other than tuition, except those waived by the Chief Administrative Officer of the University where enrolled, shall be paid by the participating individuals as a condition of enrollment. However, unitmembers shall not be charged separately identified admission, student health or student activity fees for courses they enroll in under this program. 4. Minimum enrollment requirements, established by any University as a necessary condition for offering a course, shall not count unit members toward the number of students required to guarantee the offering of such course. For Summer courses which are self-supporting, dependents who are receiving half-tuition waivers shall be counted as one-half toward the minimum course enrollment. 5. This waiver does not apply to mini-courses or other non-semester or non-credit course offerings except those identified in advance by the University. 6. Participation in the tuition waiver program by unit members and dependents will be as follows: a. Full-Time Regular Unit Member Tuition Waiver: May take courses not to exceed eight (8) credit hours per semester and in the summer for full-time regular unit members. b. Part-Time Regular Unit Member Tuition Waiver: Tuition waiver not to exceed four (4) credit hours per semester and in the summer.
Educational Program. Section 1: Nurses covered by this Agreement will receive the university fee authorization program and dependent fee authorization program as currently in effect and as may be determined during the term of this agreement. Section 2: Attendance at mandatory educational conferences, seminars, external educational programs, in-services, or competencies shall be counted as time worked, and nurses shall be compensated at the applicable rate, and for the cost of travel and registration fees in accordance with University policy. Following discussion with a nurse’s manager, if mandatory education under this section cannot be completed during a nurse’s scheduled shift and a nurse is required to come in on the nurse’s day off, the nurse shall be compensated for a minimum of two hours. Section 3: Nurses shall be entitled to professional days in a rolling twelve (12) month period to attend professional conferences, seminars or external educational programs, if such conference, seminar or program is approved by the Director of Nursing, in accordance with the following minimums:
Educational Program. 1. The Parties agree to provide a comprehensive learning experience within a professional setting (the “Program”) for students enrolled in the University. 2. The Parties agree that the Students selected for the program will be permitted to participate at dates and times mutually agreeable between the Agency and the University. The number of Students and specific dates when the Students will be utilizing the various departments of the Agency will be established and agreed upon by both parties in advance of the specific session. 3. The Parties agree to work together to maintain an environment that provides quality student learning within the curriculum plan of the Program. Agency and University shall be mutually responsible for the assignment for Students taking part in the Program based upon the goals and objectives of the Program. 4. The Parties shall ensure Student participation shall complement, rather than displace, the work of paid employees of the Agency.

Educational Program. The University will, in consultation with representatives of the Agency, plan and administer the educational program for its students at the Agency and will assume the following responsibilities: A. The University will provide the Agency with its overall plan for the use of Clinical facilities prior to the commencement of the Clinical educational experience. The plan will include details and objectives of the University's Clinical educational program at the Agency. B. The University will provide the Agency with the names of students in a timely manner as required by the Agency. Revised 6/17/2010 C. If required by Agency, the University agrees to provide pre- instruction to each student, in accordance with standards mutually agreeable to the University and Agency, and to present to the Agency only those students who have satisfactorily completed the pre-instructional program. The Agency will provide the University with all rules, regulations, procedures and information necessary for instruction prior to the arrival of each assigned student. D. The University will instruct all of its students assigned to the Agency that they will be required to comply with all those rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Agency about which the Agency informs the students, including, but not limited to, rules relating to the confidentiality of consumer and Agency records and information, and to the responsibility and authority of the Agency over consumer care and Agency administration. If required by the Agency, the University will instruct all of its students assigned to the Agency that Agency identification badges and uniforms must be worn at all times students are in the Agency. E. The University will maintain all educational records and reports relating to the educational program completed by individual students at the Agency, and the Agency will have no responsibility respecting the same other than those agreed-upon reports from Clinical supervisors that are necessary to the University's monitoring of student progress. F. If requested by the Agency, the University will instruct each student that he/she is required to provide the Agency with evidence that the student has met immunization requirements and has passed a physical examination of a scope and within time periods satisfactory to the Agency, and such evidence will indicate that the student was free from contagious diseases as nearly as could be ascertained by such examination. HIGHLINE ACADEMY shall implement and maintain the following characteristics of its educational program in addition to those identified in the Network Contract at HIGHLINE ACADEMY SOUTHEAST (“the School” within Exhibit A-1). These characteristics are subject to modification with the District’s written approval: HIGHLINE SOUTHEAST is a K-8, tuition-free, DPS Charter School that works to fulfill the Highline Academy Charter Schools mission to xxxxxx a diverse and equitable community of youth and adults striving together for academic, personal, and civic excellence. It adheres to the Core Values of the organization as described on page 8 and 9 of this contract.
Educational Program. 1. The University shall, in consultation with representatives of the Agency and on an ongoing basis, plan and administer the educational program for its students at the Agency. The University shall provide the Agency with its overall plan for the uses of clinical facilities. The plan shall include details of the University's educational program at the Agency, including the objectives, and approximate number of students for each term, dates, times, and levels of each student's academic preparation. The University shall modify its educational program as necessary to accommodate the reasonable requirements of the Agency. 2. The University will provide the names of students as soon as possible after registration for each semester. 3. The Agency shall cooperate with SVSU in the planning and conduct of the students’ clinical educational experience, to the extent that the students’ clinical experience may be appropriate in light of SVSU’s educational objectives. SVSU and the Agency will jointly evaluate students as defined by the SVSU course expectations. Exchange of information will be maintained by on-site visits when practical and by letter or telephone in other instances. 4. The University agrees to provide adequate preclinical instruction to each student in accordance with approved standards, and to present for clinical experience at the Agency only those students who have satisfactorily completed the preclinical instruction program. 5. The Agency and SVSU will endeavor to instruct their respective faculty, staff, and students participating in the program with regard to maintaining confidentiality of student, patient/client and Agency information as required by law and by the policies and procedures of the Agency and SVSU, and to the responsibility and authority of the staff of the Agency over patient/client care and Agency administration. 6. There will be no discrimination against any program participant or applicant covered under this Agreement because of race, color, religion, national origin or any other protected class guaranteed under State or Federal law. 7. No provision of this Agreement shall prevent the Agency from refusing to accept any student who has previously been discharged for cause as an employee of the Agency, who has beenremoved from or relieved of responsibilities for cause by the Agency, or who would not be eligible to be employed by the Agency.
