EFFECTIVE DATE OF THE CONTRACTOR AGREEMENT. AGREEMENT PERIOD A. This Contractor Agreement will be in effect from April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023 unless this Contractor Agreement is suspended or terminated pursuant to Article VIII prior to the above termination date. At the sole discretion of KCDJFS and provided KCDJFS (again at its sole discretion) determines that the Contractor has satisfactorily performed the requirements of this Agreement, this Agreement may be extended for a period of up to one (1) year beyond the last day of the initial Agreement Period in which case the Agreement Period shall extend through the last day of the extension. In no case may the Agreement Period exceed two years. Agreement Periods may be agreed upon for less than one (1) year.

  • Effective Date; Duration This Agreement shall become effective when signed by both parties and approved by the City’s legal counsel. Unless sooner terminated, this Agreement shall expire on June 30, 2019. Termination or expiration shall not extinguish or prejudice the City’s right to enforce this Agreement with respect to any default or defect in performance that has not been cured.
