Common use of Effective Dates of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Effective Dates of the Agreement. This agreement shall become effective on July 1, 2019, except as otherwise provided for herein and shall remain in effect until June 30, 2020, and shall be binding upon the Board and the Union as well as upon their successors until June 30, 2020, except as modified through negotiations provided for in Article 2. This agreement is between the Board and the Union on behalf of the members of the bargaining unit described in Paragraph A, above. This unit is currently represented by the Union, and the agreement was reached through negotiations with the Union. In the event all or a part of said unit described in Paragraph A, above, is hereinafter represented by a different organization, negotiations shall be had only on the date provided for herein and shall be directed toward a new agreement or an amendment of the within agreement to become effective on June 30, 2020.

This agreement shall become effective on July 1, 20192020, except as otherwise provided for herein and shall remain in effect until June 30, 20202022, and shall be binding upon the Board and the Union as well as upon their successors until June 30, 20202022, except as modified through negotiations provided for in Article 2. This agreement is between the Board and the Union on behalf of the members of the bargaining unit described in Paragraph A, above. This unit is currently represented by the Union, and the agreement was reached through negotiations with the Union. In the event all or a part of said unit described in Paragraph A, above, is hereinafter represented by a different organization, negotiations shall be had only on the date provided for herein and shall be directed toward a new agreement or an amendment of the within agreement to become effective on June 30, 202030,2022.

This unit is currently represented by the Union, and the agreement was reached through negotiations with the Union. In the event all or a part of said unit described in Paragraph A, above, is hereinafter represented by a different organization, negotiations shall be had only on the date provided for herein and shall be directed toward a new agreement or an amendment of the within agreement to become effective on June 30, 20202016.
