EFFECTS OF SETTLEMENT. (a) Where the Employer and the Union agree to the settlement of a grievance, such settlement shall be in writing and shall be final and binding on both Parties and each Employee in the bargaining unit affected by the settlement. (b) The grieving party may at its discretion by written notice withdraw any grievance at any time without prejudice to its position on the same or any matter.
