Common use of Electrics Clause in Contracts

Electrics. We will assist you and pay for the call out, labour, parts and materials involved in repairing or rectifying the breakdown of your electrical system up to the value of £2000.00. What's included: A fault or breakdown of your 240v fixed wiring within your boundary of your property including lights, switches, sockets and fuse box or consumer unit. Our engineer will complete a permanent repair unless the repair would breach the BS7671 wiring regulations. Examples of faults included: - Repairs to a faulty fuse box or consumer unit. - Lost power to circuit. - Broken or failed light switch. - Failed light fittings including security and garden lighting - Repair of immersion heater wiring and replacement of the faulty elements. - Repair of faulty wiring supplying an electric shower - Failed wiring of the supply cable to any appliance isolation switch that is connected to your Property without the use of a plug.
