Common use of Elevations Clause in Contracts

Elevations. For buildings over one story, elements to differentiate levels may be appropriate. These may include change of materials, dormers, cornices, or other elements, as approved by the city. Architectural wall variations between units to differentiate dwellings may also be appropriate and may be required by the city. These may include vertical articulation, variation of materials or other elements, as approved by the city. Trim and/or shutters is required on all windows unless the design of the building is such that trim and/or shutters is not compatible with the overall architectural style.
