Eligibility for Step Advancement. In order to be advanced one (1) step on the pay schedule, an employee must meet the following requirements: A. An employee must have been actively employed by the District as an educational assistant for not less than ninety (90) working days for full-time employees and not less than six hundred sixty (660) hours for part-time employees in the preceding school year. Unpaid leave time shall not be included in the calculation of days worked. B. If an employee is on an improvement plan, the employee must be on track with the components of the plan in order to receive a step increase.
