Merit Bonus. A. Merit bonus 1. As a performance incentive the city shall provide merit pay in the following manner: a. Performance based incentive: Any supervisor who receives an above average overall performance evaluation, does not fail any portion of the department’s prescribed agility test, and does not fail any required state firearms qualification will receive a one-time payment of $50.00. b. Certification tier one* Any officer who is tested and receives a tier one certification or recertification prior to December 31 of each year will receive a lump sum payment of $50.00. Anyone of the following components must be successfully completed for certification of tier one. c. Merit Bonus. A merit bonus of up to a maximum of five percent (5%) of an individual’s annual salary may be awarded for meritorious service. Recommendations for this bonus must be documented by the employee’s immediate supervisor and have approval of the administrator of the area in which the person works. Documentation must include specific services performed by the employee that are above the normal expectations of the employee’s job, or the documentation must show that the employee performs the normal functions of the job in such a superior fashion that it is beneficial to the College. The merit bonus will be awarded in one (1) payment and will not become a part of the employee’s base salary. No merit bonus award will be granted unless approved by the President and the Board of Trustees. Public acknowledgment of the recipient’s award shall be made in an appropriate manner.
Merit Bonus. Specifically limited to the term of this Agreement, the University may, at its sole discretion, award nonrecurring bonus payments to bargaining unit members for extraordinary performance, not to exceed $500 per bargaining unit member per fiscal year. The University will remind Deans/Directors each semester about merit bonuses. If the University determines that a merit bonus will be awarded, the xxxx/director or designee shall document the extraordinary performance in a written memorandum to include the name of the bargaining unit member, a description of the extraordinary performance and the amount of the merit bonus to be awarded. This memorandum shall become part of the bargaining unit member’s official personnel file. The University, at its sole discretion, may confer upon a bargaining unit member the title of University of Alaska Regents’ Adjunct Faculty. Upon conferral of the title, the bargaining unit member will receive a lump-sum of $1,500. The criteria for this shall be developed by the Labor Management Committee. The decisions made pursuant to this article, including the selection of recipients of merit bonus and the amounts of individual merit bonus shall not be grieveable. At the request of United Academic-Adjuncts, the University shall provide written notice of merit bonuses to United Academic-Adjuncts within a reasonable time and shall include the names of the bargaining unit members, and the amount of the awards.
Merit Bonus. An annual merit bonus of up to nine point sixteen percent (9.16%) of the Assistant Superintendent’s base salary may be provided to the Assistant Superintendent, based upon his achievement of two (2) quantitative merit criterion worth three point thirty-three percent (3.33%) each and one (1) qualitative merit criterion worth two point five percent (2.5%). Said bonus, if earned, will not be added to his base salary for computation of the following year’s salary. i. On or before September 30, 2019, the parties shall meet to develop and mutually agree upon the criteria upon which the bonus should be based and the data that forms the basis of measuring the achievement of the criteria. Prior to adoption by the Board, the criteria shall be submitted to the Executive County Superintendent for prior approval. In the event the Executive County Superintendent disapproves any criterion, the parties shall agree on a new one and re-submit for approval. Once the criteria has been approved by the Executive County Superintendent and the Board, same shall become part of this Contract of Employment and incorporated by reference herein. ii. The determination as to whether any or all of the criteria have been satisfied will be made by a majority of the full Board by no later than June 30, 2020, unless for reasons beyond the Board’s control said determination cannot be made by that date. In those cases, the parties will mutually agree on a new date. The Board shall pass a resolution identifying which criteria have been satisfied by the Assistant Superintendent. The Board’s determination shall be final and binding. The Board shall submit the resolution to the Executive County Superintendent and shall await a confirmation of the satisfaction of that criteria from the Executive County Superintendent prior to payment of the merit bonus. The Assistant Superintendent shall receive payment for successfully achieved merit goals within thirty (30) days of the Board’s receipt of the Executive County Superintendent approval of same, or as soon thereafter as practical. In addition, the Board’s obligation to pay the Assistant Superintendent for an earned merit bonus shall survive the termination of this Contract of Employment.
Merit Bonus. Nurses in the Bargaining Unit will be eligible for a merit bonus 12 on the same basis as XXXX nurses employed in Nampa and Boise.

Merit Bonus. (i) Within fifty (50) days following the end of each fiscal year ending March 31 of the Company (or portion thereof) during the term of this Agreement ("Fiscal Year"), the Company shall determine the amount of the merit bonus (the "Merit Bonus") payable to Employee equal to a percentage of the Base Salary, which percentage shall equal the percentage increase, if any, in XXXX'x consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization ("EBITDA") for its most recently completed Fiscal Year from XXXX'x EBITDA for the comparable period in the immediately preceding Fiscal Year; provided, -------- however, that no Merit Bonus shall be paid with respect to the percentage ------- increase in EBITDA for the Fiscal Year ending March 31, 1998 unless XXXX'x consolidated revenues and consolidated earnings from operations for the fiscal quarter ending March 31, 1998 exceed XXXX'x consolidated revenues and consolidated earnings from operations, respectively, for the fiscal quarter ended March 31, 1997, in each case as shown on the Financial Statements. XXXX shall immediately inform Employee of the amount, if any, of the Merit Bonus. (ii) Within ten (10) days following notice to Employee of the amount of the Merit Bonus, Employee may elect in writing to receive such Merit Bonus in the form of options to acquire Ordinary Shares (the "Merit Options"), which Merit Options shall be issued under XXXX'x employee stock option plan if sufficient options are available thereunder and shall be issued outside of such plan if insufficient options are available thereunder. If Employee does not elect to receive Merit Options for a given Fiscal Year, the Company shall promptly pay to Employee the Merit Bonus in cash. If Employee elects to receive Merit Options in respect of a Fiscal Year, such Merit Options shall be issued on the last day of the Compensation Period in which such Fiscal Year ends, and (A) each Merit Option shall represent an option to acquire one (1) Ordinary Share, and the number of Merit Options to be issued to Employee shall equal the quotient of (1) the aggregate dollar amount of such Merit Bonus divided by (2) the product of the Market Price (as defined below) per Ordinary Share as of the last day of the Compensation Period in which such Fiscal Year ends multiplied by twenty-five hundredths (0.25), (B) subject to the accelerated vesting provisions of this Agreement, one-third (1/3) of the aggregate number of such Merit Options shall be immediately v...

Merit Bonus. 28.5.1 A merit bonus may be granted annually to no less than ten percent (10%) and no more than twelve percent (12%) of Members. To be eligible for a merit bonus, a Member's performance must clearly have exceeded the established expectations and standards for the position. The awarding of a merit bonus will be at the sole discretion of the University and will not be grievable. The value of a merit adjustment will be a lump sum payment of $500 and will not be added to the Member's salary.
Merit Bonus. The Board of Directors, or the Compensation ----------- Committee of the Board have established, and shall monitor and oversee an incentive bonus program for the Executive which has definitive and specific hurdles and performance standards which, if achieved in the aggregate, would result in the Executive receiving bonus compensation of $175,000 during the applicable fiscal year, more specifically described as follows: (i) Attached as Exhibit "B" are the consolidated revenue, expense and ----------- net pre-tax profits projections prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles by the Executive for the 1997 and 1998 calendar years of AVCOM. In connection with the merger of AVCOM ----------- and a subsidiary of the Company, there will be some integration of the operations of AVCOM and the Company to promote efficiency and increase profitability. For purposes of calculating the Executive's incentive bonus for the 1997 and 1998 fiscal years, the Company and the Executive agree to work together to formulate a reasonable measure of the profitability of AVCOM for these periods as though the merger had not occurred. (iii) In the event that the 1997 AVCOM calendar year consolidated net revenues and pre-tax net profits, as determined by the Company in the exercise of its good faith business judgment, are (a) 80% or more of the amounts set forth in Exhibit "B", the Executive shall receive a $50,000 ----------- incentive bonus for such year; (b) 90% or more of the amounts set forth in Exhibit "B", the Executive shall receive an additional $50,000 incentive bonus ----------- for such year (for a total of a $100,000 incentive bonus for such year); or (c) 100% or more of the amounts set forth in Exhibit "B", the Executive shall ----------- receive an additional $75,000 incentive bonus for such year (for a total of a $175,000 incentive bonus for such year). Merit Bonus. Commencing with the fiscal year ending January 31, 2002, the Board may, but is not obligated to, award a bonus to Executive following the end of each fiscal year based upon the Company's operating results for and Executive's performance during such fiscal year and such other performance targets and criteria as the Board and Executive may establish and adjust for such fiscal year (the "Merit Bonus"). The target level of such Merit Bonus shall be fifty percent (50%) of Executive's Base Salary, but the amount of any such Merit Bonus may range from zero percent (0%) to one hundred percent (100%) of Executive's Base Salary as determined by the Board based on such criteria. In addition, the Board may take into account any unusual or non-recurring items of the Company during such fiscal year deemed appropriate by the Board in determining any Merit Bonus. The Company shall pay to Executive any such Merit Bonus on or before April 1 following the end of the fiscal year for which such Merit Bonus was based, and any such Merit Bonus shall be subject to customary withholdings for taxes.
