Go (EAYG) Vacation days are earned on a pro rata basis during the calendar year and eligible employees earn a fractional portion of the annual vacation each month. A prorated portion is earned for any month the employee is on active payroll and works any amount of time during that month. Subject to management approval, the employee may take all or part of the annual vacation at any time during the calendar year, including additional days the employee may earn at a later date according to the table in paragraph 1(b) including additional days granted as a result of achieving a service milestone. No employee shall earn vacation while on leave. However, if an individual on leave returns directly to active status during the same calendar year, the employee will receive credit for vacation he or she would have earned as if no leave had been taken during the calendar year the leave terminates.
