Common use of EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISION Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISION. In the event of circumstances beyond the control of the City, such as acts of God, fire, flood, insurrection, civil disorder, national emergency, or similar circumstances, the provisions of this MOU, which restrict the City’s ability to respond to these emergencies, shall be suspended for the duration of such emergency. After the emergency is declared over, IPCMA shall have the right to meet and confer with the City regarding the impact on employees of the suspension of these provisions in the MOU.
