Physical Fitness Program. The physical fitness program as set forth in General Order 11.10 and as outlined in the Physical Fitness Program Information Booklet (revised July, 1993) shall remain in effect, and shall be available to all employees covered under this MOU.
Physical Fitness Program. 43.1 The Joint Labor/Management Physical Fitness Committee consisting of four (4) members, two (2) appointed by the Chief of Department and two (2) appointed by the Union shall develop a physical fitness program for the Department to maintain and improve the health and fitness of members and reduce injuries. The employees appointed by the Union shall receive reasonable time off without loss of compensation or other benefits for the purpose of participating in meetings of the Joint Labor/Management Physical Fitness Committee.
43.2 The Committee shall recommend procedures to the Chief of Department, to the Union and, through the Chief of Department, to the Fire Commission for determining eligibility of members to participate in the program, and a method for evaluating participants.
43.3 The City shall use its best efforts to allocate $2,000 per fiscal year for the purchase of physical fitness equipment for each station and other work site, including Headquarters, where employees are assigned.

Physical Fitness Program. All employees shall participate in the established, mutually agreed upon, mandatory Fire Department Physical Fitness Program most recently modified in November 1989. The Physical Fitness Program shall be designed to insure the employee’s physical fitness to perform their duties. Disciplinary action in connection with the Physical Fitness Program shall be taken only in the event employees fail to participate in the program as prescribed. The Port will provide the facilities and equipment necessary to maintain the program. The terms of the Program require the agreement of the Port and the Union. Issues concerning the terms of the Program may be referred to the Labor-Management Committee.
Physical Fitness Program. The Department shall continue the mandatory physical fitness program as outlined in OAG 27.000.
Physical Fitness Program. (a) The City may establish a reasonable mandatory physical fitness program which, if established, will include individualized goals. No employee will be disciplined for failure to meet any goals that may be established, as long as the employee makes a good faith effort to meet any such goals. Before any new program is implemented, the City shall review and discuss the program at a meeting of the Labor- Management Committee.
(b) The foregoing shall not be construed to either relieve an employee of his obligation to meet reasonable job-related physical fitness standards that may be established by the City or interfere with the City’s right to terminate an employee who is unable to meet reasonable job-related physical fitness standards.
Physical Fitness Program. The ACFD shall continue the mandatory physical fitness program as outlined in OAG 27.000 (Physical Fitness Exercise Policy).
Physical Fitness Program. The Physical Fitness Program shall continue and amendments in the Program shall be implemented as agreed between the parties and as indicated in General Order 22.3 issued on 3-1-98 and attached herein as Appendix F. The parties agree that this Program shall be reviewed on a continual basis by the Physical Fitness Review Board and modifications may be made to the Program subject to approval by the Chief of Police, provided that the parties agree to the proposed changes.
Physical Fitness Program. The parties agree that it is in their mutual interests for employees to be in good physical condition. In order to ensure employees are physically able to perform their fire suppression duties, the parties agree that the Bloomington Fire Department standard operating procedure titled "Annual Job Physical Fitness Testing" dated June 15, 1994 shall remain in effect for the duration of this Agreement. It is understood that there shall be no change in the standard operating procedure without mutual consent, in writing, by both the Union and the City.
Physical Fitness Program. To promote the physical well-being of employees, the Company shall contribute 50% of the cost of an employee’s membership in an approved physical fitness program. The maximum Company contribution is $125.00 per calendar year.
