Common use of EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISION Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY WAIVER PROVISION. In the event of circumstances of a general disaster nature beyond the control of Agency, such Acts of God, fire, flood, insurrection, civil disorder, national emergency or similar circumstances, provisions of this Memorandum of Understanding or the Personnel Rules or Resolutions of Agency which restrict Agency's ability to respond to these emergencies shall be suspended for the duration of such emergency. After the emergency is declared over, the Union shall have the right to meet and confer with Agency regarding the impact on employees of the suspension of these provisions in the Memorandum and any Personnel Rules and Policies.
