Common use of Employ Competent Persons Clause in Contracts

Employ Competent Persons. A. The Contractor shall employ only competent persons on the Work and shall not employ persons or means which may cause strikes, work stoppages or any disturbances by persons employed by the Contractor, any subcontractor, the Owner, the Engineer or any other contractor. Whenever the Engineer notifies the Contractor in writing that in his opinion any person on the Work is incompetent, unfaithful, disorderly, or otherwise unsatisfactory, or not employed in accordance with the provisions of the Contract, such person shall be discharged from the Work and shall not again be employed on it, except with the written consent of the Engineer.
