Common use of Employee Health & Safety Clause in Contracts

Employee Health & Safety. (1) The Company shall make reasonable provision for the safety and health of the employees during the hours of their employment and provide protective devices and other equipment, necessary to protect employees properly from injury, and the Union may, from time to time, meet with the Company to bring to the attention of the Company recommended suggestions in this regard. (2) The Company will provide payment up to a maximum of $150 for CSA approved safety shoes in November of each calendar year. Effective November 1, 2012 $160 and effective November 1, 2013 $170.
