Common use of Employee Involvement Committees Clause in Contracts

Employee Involvement Committees. The parties agree to use the EIC process to address workplace issues. The JLMC shall charter EICs. Employee Involvement Committees shall have the authority to make recommendations to the JLMC on the respective workplace issues. EICs that are chartered for the purpose of addressing issues relating to an alternative work schedule shall include a specific recommendation regarding the manner in which training days will be scheduled to avoid creating an increase in overtime costs for training those employees working the alternative shift.
