Common use of EMPLOYEE SPOUSES / REGISTERED DOMESTIC PARTNERS/ DEPENDENTS Clause in Contracts

EMPLOYEE SPOUSES / REGISTERED DOMESTIC PARTNERS/ DEPENDENTS. 1. For medical insurance plans, when a unit employee is the spouse or registered domestic partner of another benefited City employee, the affected employees shall have the option of:  Each employee have a flex dollar amount of a single employee; or

EMPLOYEE SPOUSES / REGISTERED DOMESTIC PARTNERS/ DEPENDENTS. 1. For medical insurance plans, when a unit employee is the spouse or registered domestic partner of another benefited City employee, the affected employees shall have the option of:  Each employee have a flex dollar amount of a single employee; oror one (1) employee may select a plan and list the spouse as a dependent under the two-party or family coverage, as applicable and the remaining employee may opt-out as outlined above.
