Employee Status After Exhaustion of Short Term Disability. An employee who has exhausted the employee’s short-term disability benefit shall be on inactive status. He shall be eligible for COBRA, but shall no longer be eligible for employer-sponsored benefits, other than Long Term Disability as set forth above. This section shall not affect the benefits to which the employee is entitled under STRS as of the date the employee is in an inactive status.
