Common use of EMPLOYEE’S COMPENSATION INSURANCE Clause in Contracts

EMPLOYEE’S COMPENSATION INSURANCE. Contractor shall take all risk Insurance Policy to cover all his workmen/employees, staff applicable under the Employee Compensation Act 1923 or any amendment thereof as also insurance cover for third party liability. The Contractor shall keep the GIPCL indemnified from all liabilities arising out of his action in pursuance of this contract. The E.C. Policy should be obtained from Surat Jurisdiction and shall be assigned to GIPCL. E.C. Policy should cover the specified contract period. Contractor shall also obtain additional Off-duty coverage insurance policy for all his workers.
