Common use of Employees hired Before July 1, 2000 Clause in Contracts

Employees hired Before July 1, 2000. Accrued sick leave up to 720 hours (90 days) for full-time employees averaging 37½ hours a week will be paid to an employee's surviving spouse, or if no spouse survives, to the surviving children through the administrator of the estate, when an employee dies while employed by the Nashua Police Department. If no spouse or children survive, the accrued sick leave will be paid to the employee’s estate.
