The Contractor / Bidder should also cover all the eligible contract labourers working on MDL jobs, under the Employees’ State Insurance Act and Scheme by furnishing necessary returns to appropriate authority and pay both employees’ and employers’ contributions in respect of these employees to the concerned authorities within 20 days from the close of every month. The contractor shall produce copy of R. D. F. xxxx acknowledged by ESI local office for confirmation that the workmen are covered under ESI Act and Scheme. Contractor / Bidder should produce proof of such remittances to Corporate Personnel Department of MDL along with full details of contributions etc. within 25 days from the close of month. He shall also give an undertaking that he will not engage any one on our work who is not duly covered under the said Act and Scheme.
