Tuition and Credit Reimbursement - Tuition reimbursement per FTE shall be 100% of the actual cost when the school district requires a certificated employee to take a class. When the class is not required by the District, tuition reimbursement per FTE shall be based on a rate of $65 per quarter hour credit or actual cost if less than $65 up to a maximum of $325 for five (5) quarter hours credits. Requests for reimbursement shall be accompanied by a grade slip and receipt of proof of payment for classes. Classes must be completed prior to reimbursement. Also, the District shall reimburse certificated staff for the actual cost of clock hours at district-approved conferences and workshops. In no instance will the District reimburse certificated staff for credit and/or clock hours exceeding $325. In case of double levy failure, this section shall expire on July 1 of that year.
