EMPLOYMENT ON CONTINUING CONTRACT. 1. All employees who are hired to the district, except for teachers teaching on call or temporary contract employees, shall be granted a continuing contract of employment. 2. Temporary contract employees will be granted a continuing contract of employment when they become eligible, in accordance with Article C.25. 3. A continuing contract employee relinquishes their continuing contract status when they are the successful applicant for a temporary contract position. They will become a temporary contract employee and have the rights of a temporary contract employee in accordance with Article C.25. These employees will retain all accumulated seniority and sick leave credits.
