Common use of EMS Standby Clause in Contracts

EMS Standby. The Permittee shall consult with the City EMS Director to determine if EMS Standby services are warranted for each event date noted above. If it is determined by the EMS Director, in the EMS Director’s sole discretion, that EMS Standby services are required for a particular event date, the Permittee shall pay for and arrange a City EMS crew and ambulance to provide service to the festival or special event. The Permittee shall pay to the City a standby rate for the EMS crew and ambulance. Said rate shall be the current established rate as set by the City and found in Article 1120 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Bethlehem.
