Enactment of Fair Share Agency Shop. A Fair Share Service Fee consistent with State law will be effective the first pay period following ratification of this Article by the Board of Supervisors and ratification by the employees. The State Mediation and Conciliation Service will conduct the employee ratification vote. Employee ratification will require an affirmative majority of the ballots cast. The balloting will be conducted among all Mendocino County Probation Employees Teamsters members (Probation and Juvenile Hall Units) who are eligible to vote under the Teamster’s by-laws and all other represented employees who will, upon enactment, be subject to the terms of this Article.
