Encroachment Permits/Licenses/Easements a. On City Property or Rights of Way: Except as provided in 4(c), HRDC must obtain an encroachment permit from the City Department of Public Works prior to construction or installation of transit shelters located within City- controlled right-of-way. Construction or installation of a transit shelter on City-owned real property will require a signed license agreement prior to construction or installation. For transit shelters placed on right-of-way owned or controlled by the Montana Department of Transportation, HRDC must contact the Bozeman office of MDT and obtain all necessary approvals from MDT prior to installing the transit shelter.

  • Permits/Licenses Contractor and all Contractor’s employees or agents shall secure and maintain in force all permits and licenses that are required by law in connection with the furnishing of Services pursuant to this Agreement.

STATE may at any time require PURCHASER to satisfy STATE that operations under this contract comply with state, federal, and local laws and regulations. STATE may require PURCHASER to obtain a permit, license, or approval from the governmental body or agency responsible for administering applicable laws before PURCHASER may begin or continue an operation under this contract. In the performance of the operations, PURCHASER shall use every reasonable and practicable means to avoid damage to property and injury to persons. The responsibility of PURCHASER stated herein shall cease upon the operations being accepted as complete by STATE.

  • Utility Easements 2.1 Some properties may at the discretion of the Developer be subject to easements in favour of suppliers of water, power, gas, telephone, internet and wastewater utilities and services, including SaskPower for location of a transformer and SaskTel. The Property Owner acknowledges that the location of any transformer and which lots will be affected by any such easements, will not be known until such utility and service providers complete their design work and the Developer has negotiated the terms and conditions thereof. The Property Owner further specifically acknowledges and agrees that the Property may be subject to any such easement, and that the same shall not affect or result in a decrease or abatement of the purchase price of the Property.

  • Permits, Licenses, and Inspections The Owner shall cooperate with the Contractor in obtaining building and other permits, licenses, and inspections. See also Subparagraph 2.1.2.2.3 and Article 2.1.5.

  • LAWS, LICENSES, PERMITS AND REGULATIONS Contractor and County agree to comply with all State laws and regulations that pertain to construction, health and safety, labor, minimum wage, fair employment practice, equal opportunity, and all other matters applicable to Contractor and County, their sub-grantees, Contractors, or subcontractor, and their work. Contractor shall possess and maintain all necessary licenses, permits, certificates and credentials required by the laws of the United States, the State of California, County of Merced and all other appropriate governmental agencies, including any certification and credentials required by County. Failure to maintain the licenses, permits, certificates, and credentials shall be deemed a breach of this Agreement and constitutes grounds for the termination of this Agreement by County.
