Permits, Licenses, and Safety. PURCHASER shall procure all permits and licenses, pay all charges and fees, and give all notices necessary and incident to the due and lawful prosecution of the operations. STATE may at any time require PURCHASER to satisfy STATE that operations under this contract comply with state, federal, and local laws and regulations. STATE may require PURCHASER to obtain a permit, license, or approval from the governmental body or agency responsible for administering applicable laws before PURCHASER may begin or continue an operation under this contract. In the performance of the operations, PURCHASER shall use every reasonable and practicable means to avoid damage to property and injury to persons. The responsibility of PURCHASER stated herein shall cease upon the operations being accepted as complete by STATE.

Permits, Licenses, and Safety. Contractor shall procure all permits and licenses, pay all charges and fees, and give all notices necessary and incident to the due and lawful performance of the Services performed under the Contract. Agency may at any time require Contractor to satisfy Agency that the Services performed under the Contract complies with state, federal, and local laws and regulations. Agency may require Contractor to obtain a permit, license, or approval from the governmental body or agency responsible for administering applicable laws before Contractor may begin or continue Services under the Contract. In the performance of Services under the Contract, Contractor shall use every reasonable and practicable means to avoid damage to property and injury to persons. Contractor is required to have and maintain throughout the duration of the Contract a valid Commercial Pesticide Operator License, Commercial Pesticide Applicator License with the forest or right of way category endorsement. Contractor’s employees handling the chemical mixtures shall have, at a minimum, a valid Apprentice Pesticide License. Contractor shall notify the Agency immediately if such licenses are revoked or suspended by the relevant government agency.

  • Permits/Licenses Contractor and all Contractor’s employees or agents shall secure and maintain in force all permits and licenses that are required by law in connection with the furnishing of Services pursuant to this Agreement.
