Environmental Protection Provisions. 62.1 Pass-through of Environmental Protections of Deeds. Tenant understands and agrees, on its own behalf and on behalf of Tenant’s heirs, successors, assigns, officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, partners, members, representatives, and personal representatives, that (a) Landlord purchased the Navy Yard from the Government and (b) the Government, as Seller, has retained certain obligations to Landlord with respect to the condition of the Navy Yard under Environmental Laws, which obligations are set forth in the deeds of record for the Property and (c) Landlord shall not be deemed to have assumed, and Tenant hereby releases Landlord from, any obligations, responsibilities, or indebtedness, assumed and retained by the Government under Environmental Laws.
Environmental Protection Provisions. The Environmental Protection Provisions are at Exhibit “C”, which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. These provisions are intended to ensure protection of human health and the environment and to preclude any interference with ongoing or completed remediation activities at the former Fort Ord. The Grantee (“FORA”) shall not transfer or lease the Property or any portion thereof, or grant any interest, privilege, or license whatsoever in connection with the Property, or any portion thereof, without the inclusion of the Environmental Protection Provisions contained herein to the extent applicable to the Property or a portion thereof, and shall require the inclusion of the applicable Environmental Protection Provisions in all further deeds, easements, transfers, leases, or grant of any interest, privilege, or license concerning the Property or the applicable portion thereof.
Environmental Protection Provisions. In addition to all other duties and obligations imposed upon Tenant by this Lease with respect to care and maintenance of the Premises, and the conduct of Tenant's business thereon, Tenant, by signing this Lease, expressly covenants and agrees to comply with all applicable provisions of and amendments to governmental laws and regulations related to environmental protection, including any laws or regulations that may impose requirements upon the San Mateo County Harbor District as a governmental agency.
Environmental Protection Provisions. UDLP shall comply with all of the Environmental Protection Provisions of the Lease applicable to it as a Sublesse all as set forth in Paragraph 13 of the Lease.
