Equality Legislation. 28.1 You must not, whether as an employer or provider of services and/or goods, discriminate against anyone on the basis of their age; being or becoming a transsexual person; being married or in a civil partnership; being pregnant or on maternity leave; disability; race (including colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin); religion, belief or lack of religion/belief; sex; or sexual orientation. This means that you must not treat people with these characteristics:
