EQUIPMENT OF BUSES. All buses shall be cleaned and fully equipped with proper appliances for operating, including an adequate supply of sand and fuel, and shall be ready for service ten (10) minutes prior to the time at which they are due to leave the garage. The Bus Operator of each bus, before leaving on the run, must see that the bus is fully equipped with the proper appliances and supplies, and if anything is found to be lacking must report at once to the Supervisor. Bus Operators must report any defects or anything wrong with the bus at the end of the run on defect slips provided for that purpose. In case a bus regularly appears to be unduly cold, the matter shall be reported, in writing, to the Manager of Plant and Equipment and the condition will be corrected before the bus is again placed in operation.

  • Equipment Ownership The ownership of all equipment provided by the Contractor shall remain with the Contractor, and equipment shall be maintained by the Contractor in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and all Federal (including OSHA), New York State and local codes. The Contractor shall provide and maintain the collection equipment at the Authorized User’s facility(s) for use twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year. If equipment is removed for longer than brief periods for emptying the container, it shall be replaced with equal type and capacity equipment to ensure continuous dumping ability. If not so provided, the Authorized User shall be provided with a rebate for the amount of time they were unable to dump and the Authorized User may seek "Remedies for Breach" as stated in Appendix B. If the equipment is owned by the Authorized User, the Authorized User assumes liability and costs associated with the equipment and a price reduction may be passed along to the Authorized User representing the difference in cost, if any, for the Contractor not having to provide the equipment.

  • Special Equipment The Employer agrees to provide specialty tools, emergency supplies/equipment, testing equipment and safety equipment as needed to perform required duties as determined and authorized by the Chief or designee. The emergency supplies/equipment will include appropriate survival provisions and equipment for each permanent Maintenance Mechanic 4 and the Law Enforcement Communications Systems Supervisor when they are performing duties that would require such provisions and equipment. When necessary, the employer will replenish used or expired survival provisions and damaged and unusable equipment. All supplies and equipment will be returned to the employer when the employee is no longer performing the duties that would require the survival provisions and/or equipment.

  • Equipment The Fund shall obtain and maintain at its own cost and expense all equipment and services, including but not limited to communications services, necessary for it to utilize the Software and obtain access to the System, and Custodian shall not be responsible for the reliability or availability of any such equipment or services.

  • EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS 40.01 The Employer will make available all necessary tools and equipment it requires for the performance of work assignments at no cost to the employees. Such tools and equipment will remain the property of the Employer and the employees will be required to take reasonable care of this property and may be required to sign out certain equipment and tools.
