Common use of Equipment Ownership Markers Clause in Contracts

Equipment Ownership Markers. 23.1 The Contractor shall identify all movable equipment and, to the extent agreed upon by the parties, all other salvageable facilities constructed or installed on the United States right-of-way or in Western substations pursuant to the contract which are owned by the Contractor, by permanently affixing thereto suitable markers clearly identifying the Contractor as the owner of said equipment and facilities. 23.2 If requested by the Contractor, Western shall identify all movable equipment and, to the extent agreed upon by the parties, all other salvageable facilities constructed or installed on the Contractor’s right-of-way or in the Contractor’s substations pursuant to the contract which are owned by the United States, by permanently affixing thereto suitable markers clearly identifying the United States as the owner of said equipment and facilities.
