Common use of EQUIPMENT WARRANTY, RECALLS, AND SERVICE UPDATES Clause in Contracts

EQUIPMENT WARRANTY, RECALLS, AND SERVICE UPDATES. 2.1 The equipment offered must include the manufacturer’s standard warranty. 2.2 Minimum warranty required for boats and trailers is 1 year or greater. 2.3 Minimum warranty required for motors is 2 years or greater. 2.4 The responder shall state the warranty term (months, years) for all items offered on the Price Schedule. 2.5 The Contract Vendor shall be responsible for the cost of any inspections, adjustments, parts, labor, travel, pickup and/or delivery charges that are a result of equipment failure(s) prior to or during the warranty period. 2.6 The contract vendor shall be the single contact through which Customers arrange warranty work. 2.7 The Customer reserves the right to require the work to be subcontracted if it facilitates and expedites the completion of the warranty work. 2.8 All warranty work must be done with the state of Minnesota unless mutually agreed by the Customer and the Contract Vendor. 2.9 The warranty work shall be performed as soon as possible within a reasonable amount of time. 2.10 This warranty shall commence when the unit has been fully inspected upon delivery at the DNR and payment is approved.
