Common use of Erosion Control Coordinator Clause in Contracts

Erosion Control Coordinator. 36 Developer shall designate an Erosion Control Coordinator (ECC) for the Project. The ECC must 37 be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and revising the approved SWPPP throughout the 38 Construction Period, for making the required inspections, and for implementing any other permit 39 requirements stipulated in the AZPDES general permit. 40 The ECC must be capable of identifying existing and predictable effects of Developer’s 41 operations, and must have complete authority to direct Developer’s personnel and equipment to 42 implement the requirements described herein, including prompt placement of corrective 43 measures to minimize or eliminate pollution and damage to downstream watercourses. The 1 ECC must also be familiar with procedures and practices identified in the SWPPP, and must 2 ensure that emergency procedures are up to date and available at the Site. 3 The ECC must at all times be aware of Developer’s work activities, schedule, and effect of the 4 Work on the environment, and must, at any time, be accessible to direct Developer’s personnel 5 to replace or repair erosion control measures as necessary. The ECC must be present at the 7 ECC can be contacted at any time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. The ECC 8 must be present at the jobsite within 24 hours of such call being placed.
